About the photographer
Victor Go, a passionate photographer, started off his journey with a Canon Powershot G1 way back in year 2000. The simple point and shoot (PnS) camera that has the features of almost a Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera helped him to understand the technical details of photography at light speed. With a keen eye for details he loves to shoot anything under the sky. His favorite genres are Portraits, Landscape, Macro and Wildlife. In 2008 he clinched the champion title for the National School PhotoArt competition.
Victor’s full time career is not a photographer but a teacher at the Paya Lebar Methodist Girls’ School (Secondary). He is in charge of the school’s photography club and is the key trainer for the student members. He started an inter-school photography portal, www.shutterbug.sg with the aim to gather all students who are interested in photography to come together to share and learn from one another. He also started Canongraphers.org and Punggol.org portal to serve the various communities.
